He had 5 goals (1 goal he scored was valid but was nullified) and 2 assists in 9 games, aren't those good numbers for a player in la Ligua?

I did. He had a reasonably good time there. But he's been held captive at Tottenham. That's what I'm most worried about.

I most certainly did. He had a decent time at Ipswich, and he played reasonably well at Racing Stantander. At Barca he was a disaster. But do you really think he's hit his ceiling? Definitely not. I'm just trying to outline the career of player gone astray. The situation at Tottenham has been catastrophic, and I'd say dos Santos is definitely not solely to blame. Playing well at Santander is one thing; playing consistently is another.

Thoughtful tribute and recount of the tragic event, Anthony. I have to agree, let's hope this sparks some improvement(s) in the beautiful game and the way players are medically monitored and cared for.
